A3 PICO 3G

We are pleased to announce our upcoming Final Workshop of A3 PICO 3G project which is going to be held in Rovinj, Croatia from 24-27 of March, 2019 at the Multimedia Center Rovinj (MMC). The main aim of this workshop is to discuss its achievements, disseminate obtained results and identify the future opportunities.

A3 PICO 3G team attended the biggest science popularisation event in Croatia with the exhibition stand and two lectures. More about the event at the ODI 2018 link.

Our PhD student Andrea Budiša attended YAS 2018 in Oban, Scotland and give a lecture by the title "Microalgae Utilizing Wastewater as Promising Candidates for Biofuel Production".

PI Maria Blažina and a collaborator Biserka Lukarić Špalj from INA d.d. presented our work ("Cultivation of Adriatic microalgae on rafinery wastewater") at the International Conference on Biofuels and Bioenergy in Edinburgh, Scotland with a public lecture and a poster for which they got a "Best Poster Award".

Our PhD student Andrea Budiša had a public lecture on cyanobacteria at the Italian community of Rovinj "Pino Budicin".

Our team had a workshop with a team from Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology (FKIT) and Comprehensive Water Technology d.o.o. (CWT), University of Zagreb who built our bioreactors.

PI Maria Blažina and a collaborator Lana Magić from INA d.d. presented 3A PICO 3G project at the "LET'S GO GREEN" festival in Zagreb, Croatia. More about the festival on the following link.

A3 PICO 3G team members attended IV University of Cádiz International Summer School held in Cádiz from 12-16 June 2017. Last day of the workshop we visited the installations of the project ALLGAS. More details about the workshop available on the following link.
